1. Adventure is a genre that is very in at the moment. Adventure genre usually has a protagonist dealing with a conflict whether it be external or internal and takes the viewer along for the ride. Adventure movies typically are more fast-paced compared to other genres which really help the younger audience stay engaged with the film. The typical audience targeted is men between ages 12-30 but that demographic has expanded when lowering the age requirement for such films. Many adventure films can also be considered family movies which would broaden the scope of viewers. Nevertheless, the typical targeted audience is males from ages 12-30. In addition, some of the biggest movies in this day and age are categorized under the genre of adventure.
